How many times has performance dipped and suddenly we are asked, what went wrong? This session will explore the idea of competitor and customer insights to inform your marketing strategy. As marketers, we can get blinkered by focusing too much on ourselves, our approach, and our strategy, but less often do we focus on understanding our competitors. If we stop to think, they are also aiming to acquire new customers to market, retain their customers, and poach our customers! By ensuring we have an eye on the competition, as well as an open dialogue with our customers, we can ensure our marketing strategies are agile and responsive to help us retain and grow our market share whatever the market conditions.
