What is the Digital Agency Workshop and who is it for?
We set up the Workshop because we had so many students wanting to come and do work experience and we couldn't see them all. We're quite a small business so it was my way of creating something to allow students to come and learn more about our industry in a way that doesn't take up too much of their time but gives them a flavour of why they might want to come and work in a digital agency.
What will students learn when they come here?
We're going to run through all of the different departments so that they can understand all of the different roles that exist within a digital agency. We're also going to talk about the different ways in which you might start to find a career, what kind of qualifications you might need or where on the job experience is going to help.
We'll be there to answer as many questions as possible and let the students get a real feel for what we do.
What is the overall aim?
The aim is to inspire young people to want to work in a digital agency. We love what we do and we want to share it with people coming through school. At the moment there are no classes in school that would make you think you definitely wanted to be in an agency so we need to give some real experience and information to inspire the students.
